PostSubject: SwiftKit????   Wed May 30, 2012 11:11 pm

I coppied this from the Tech area of RS forums.

Hope nobody is caught with this.

Pls see below

Mod Mozza 30/05/2012

Hey guys,

In regards to the below If you have opened SwiftKit then we would highly recommend you run a virus scan straight away before changing your password. Please also uninstall SwiftKit straight away. If you do suspect that you have been hijacked due to this situation then please don't hesitate in posting your Display Name so we can secure your account.

We will hide your message when we have done this to let you know the account is secure.

Swiftkit has been hacked - If you close and reopen the program you will be fronted with a Java popup box. Do not accept this, as it allows the publisher to send files to your computer. If you accept you will be potentially keylogged - don't accept the file.
If you check the official website you'll see the website has also been hacked.
Anyone that uses Swiftkit and see's this, please don't get hacked, I hope I save some people from getting hacked. People are being said to be getting trojans from this.

If you believe you have a trojan check your task manager and make sure you dont have any strange processes running.

Hey Wal,

Thank you for posting this.

Awhile back some friends in the game told me about Swift kit, but I always felt weird using it.

Thankfully I only used it for one day like 3 or 4 years ago LOL
